Questions

Does it know supermarket prices?

Not yet. NZ supermarkets don’t offer an official price feed, so you enter the prices you pay, or rough ones. We’d rather be honest than guess. Once a recipe has prices, every plan and list made from it shows the cost.

How does sharing work?

Open your list, choose Share, and type the email address your partner uses for their own account. The list then shows up for them too, and you both see changes as they happen. They need their own login. You can remove someone, or they can leave, at any time.

Where do the calories come from?

From Platewell, our food and weight tracker. If Platewell is on your account, you can match each ingredient to a Platewell food and enter its weight, and Home Kitchen works out calories per serve. They’re estimates, not medical advice.

Who can see my data?

Your recipes and meal plan are only for you. A shopping list is seen only by you and the people you share it with. We don’t sell data or show ads. You can download or delete everything from your account at any time. See the Privacy Policy.

What does it cost?

It’s free for 30 days. Home Kitchen is in early access, so after your trial contact us and we’ll agree access and pricing with you before anything is charged.
